The auspicious journey of the Shri Ram Rath Yatra, organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS), and several Hindu organizations and Mandirs, commenced from Vishnu Mandir in Richmond Hill. The yatra aims to outreach 1001 Mandirs across the United States and Canada, covering approximately 30,000 kilometers (15,000 kilometers each in Canada and the US). The inaugural ceremony at Vishnu Mandir was graced by the presence of various dignitaries, including community leaders, Mayors, Councillors, and devotees in large numbers. The event commenced with Pran Pratishtha and Havan ceremonies, invoking the blessings of Lord Rama for a successful and peaceful journey ahead.
